PROJECT TITLE: The Yakuruna | Creature Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Inspired by the Amazonian myth of water people who reside in stunning underwater cities, often found at the mouths of rivers in the Amazon basin.

I created "The Yakuruna" a unique design concept by blending fungi with amphibians. This approach allowed me to explore a creature that feels both organic and otherworldly while staying true to the myth.

THOUGHT PROCESS & DEVELOPMENT:
- I started with detailed sketches to experiment with forms and textures, then moved to 3D modeling to bring the creature to life.

- Each step helped refine the design, focusing on its intricate details and lifelike qualities.

- In the final phase, I concentrated on visual development and rendering. By enhancing textures, lighting, and presentation, I achieved a polished, hyperrealistic final render that captures the essence of this imaginative creature.
